Parts of a Refrigerator
There aren’t too many houses that don’t feature a refrigerator inside the kitchen. It’s been a standard household appliance for several years. A refrigerator will store your food and drinks at the best temperature, to stop spoilage and stop harmful bacteria. The concept of refrigeration starts by moving the heat from the interior of the refrigerator to the outside, using the principles of condensation and evaporation.

The compressor is an important piece of a refrigerator. Homeowners should enlist a professional company if the compressor stops working.
Condenser
The refrigerator condenser is attached on the rear exterior wall of the appliance and helps to emit the heat built-up inside the refrigerator out into the air.
Evaporator
The refrigerator evaporator is installed in the inside of the refrigerator where absorbs the warmth trapped inside of it, thereby lowering the temperature inside the refrigerator.
The moment an evaporator is not working, it is time to call a professional. You should not wait too long.
Expansion Device
Liquid refrigerant is transported through a capillary tube which serves as an expansion tool as it cools the gas, transforming the gas back into a liquid.
Thermostat
The thermostat regulates the temperature in the interior of a refrigerator, engaging a new cooling period as it is needed.
The thermostat inside of a refrigerator is prone to malfunction. Troubleshoot and hire a repairman in Alabama for repair right after a problem occurs.
How Does Refrigeration Work?
1. Once the temperature within the refrigerator rises above the set point sensors signal the compressor to engage, and then the cool down starts. The appliance collects the cool liquid refrigerant, then pressurizes and condenses the liquid, and raises the temperature, in order to turn it into a gas form.
2. The refrigerator compressor unit guides the hot gas towards the condenser coils on the exterior of the unit, at which point it comes into contact with the lower temperature in the home and reverts to a liquified state.
3. The cool liquified gas continues its journey towards the refrigerator evaporator component, pushing through the many coils on the interior of the appliance and freezer.
4. The coolant then absorbs the heated air from the interior of the appliance, reducing the temperature back to the best final point.
5. The refrigerant then will evaporate, and turns back to a gas, and returns to the refrigerator compressor unit to then continue the cooling cycle.
Refrigeration technology is often found in quite a few applications and household appliances, including heat pumps, air conditioners, refrigerators and residential freezers. By contracting warmth from a single location and relocating it to elsewhere the cycle of refrigeration will help cooling your home, provides a safe storage space for food that is perishable, and also helps with the manufacturing and storage of several different everyday products and goods.
